Using Clarion 11.013630 ABC
Recently Clarion has started STOPPING Building solutions with large number of modules.
I have a NetTalk app with 140 modules ( many of them Memforms). It used to whiz through it.
Now, it Generates all the modules but will only BUILD about 50 at a time and then Hang. Can’t shut down clarion because a Build is in progress and apparently the BUILD puts a lock on the files so clarion can’t be restarted. Have to shut down and restart the computer. I have noticed this on large ABC apps as well.
Any insight from anyone?

Hi,
I think I may have tracked it down inadvertently. My app is on ONE DRIVE. i went to delete the OBJ files and I could not delete 2 of them because they were pending SYNC to One drive - so, apparently ONE DRIVE was holding these for Sync and Clarion could not write new OBJ for these existing ones waiting to be synched… interesting. That is where the Build would hang… Re-starting the machine allowed me do delete these 2 “held” obj files. THen Clarion whizzed through it and build my app without hesitation. Sooo, the bad actor here appears to be ONE DRIVE sync operation! At least now I have an understanding and solution.
