# Clarion 12 beta refresh (14438)

Beta refresh build 14438 is up. This drop is mostly IDE and tooling work from your reports: the report previewer toolbar UI is cleaner, the IDE has a debug-output pad and the Errors pad always shows the whole build results (errors,warnings and messages), the Dictionary Editor adds option to sort tables from the toolbar, and ClarionCL gets a new option that can merge a TXA into an existing app.

a mix of some of the old(existing) and new(beta) fixes/changes:

- VIEW/FILE position buffer in both template chains and the ABC classes is STRING(2048)
- blank date/time in an unmasked ENTRY paints BLANK for a USTRING pictured-entry
- Image2PDF: I2PDFReportGenerator implements IReportGeneratorW
- New: abprpdf: a 32-bpp page DIB writes as RGB : error was "Index out of Range on report with PNG"
- FILE:QueueW: one Attrib LONG, the Attrib32 + BYTE,OVER pair removed
- Window/Report Designer: the Position -\> AT rows list aligns with the language in AT() order X, Y, Width, Height
- ClarionCL /aim : import a TXA into an EXISTING application (the Application menu's Import Text, headless)
- (ENTRY/SPIN @D1 with a 4-digit year flipped month and day)
- IDE Errors pad: the three count toggles are plain labels and the list always shows every diagnostic of the last build; a build that finds a project up to date adds a message row "up to date, nothing compiled"
- IDE Window Previewer: LIST FORMAT field numbers, default column tips and the sample colors preview correctly
