# Declare Globally on the procedure dialog grayed out

Why would I have Declared globally checkmark dimmed in every app? The procs that were declared globally have a check mark still set but dimmed aswell.

And idea?

If the check box “Create Local MAPs” (main IDE menu → Tools → Application Options → Generation tab) is ticked, the “Declare Globally” check box in the procedure dialog must be enabled.
