AnyScreen - Runtime Controls and Virtual Lists

We have started testing Anyscreen on an off line machine for future integration to scripting.

The current implementation looks very interesting.

We have tested simple control creation and even virtual lists.

Features that worked out of the box. All controls and menu items were created on the Application window Open Window Event.

1). Creation of Buttons on Application Tool Bar .
2). Creation of runtime MENU ITEMS on the main application page.
3) Calling a window supporting the Clarion Help virtual list box example. Note this must be called inside the ACCEPT loop case field code and not before the Accept loop. Calling this before the accept loop resulted in the procedure locking up on return.

Note: The menu item was placed at the bottom of the menu items displayed in windows gui mode and ANYSCREEN placed the menu item at the top…

In summary ANYSCREEN looks like a very powerful platform for internet applications where runtime control creation is required. Next in the list to test automation of the ANYSCREEN platform in the near future.
