Hi,
I have installed FM3 (5.64) and with a new dictionary, I cannot enter a new file version number.
This is independent of the file driver I use.
The Option Properties - Predefined - Label droplist only shows:
Softvelocity
ABC and Clarion
Edit inplace
Emulate Auto Num key
File Declaration Mode
I have tried to reinstall the FM3 template but that doesn’t help.
Is there anyone else with a similar issue?
The earliest version of Clarion on my computer is C11.
That worked fine but without capesoft.dctopt.
capesoft.dctopt is not found on my computer.
Is that really the solution for this?
Maybe Bruce steps in and knows what’s going on.
I just tested it on my Clarion 12. Opened a dictionary and added File Options, but I didn’t have the CapeSoft Options.
Then I copied the folder “DictionaryOptions” from
c:\users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\SoftVelocity\Clarion11.1\ to
c:\users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\SoftVelocity\Clarion12.0\
I closed and reopened Clarion 12 and then reopened the dictionary and now I see:
Thanks god. I think this is only happen to me. So I can’t find any help in past. I had face this before, it may be the corrupt of the dictionary xml format, sometime it happen of change table structure and etc.
Before that I had try to delete the affect table, but it seem that it can not delete the table.
I can not find any way to solve it. Except to re-create the dictionary again.
I think it is clarion xml structure problem. So keep every version your dictionary txd file. You may need it once it has problem.
