New build is out, some nice new features and solid bug fixes. We are getting very close to GA (General Availability) release. A few highlights and link to the blog post:

  • Composed date-time pictures: @C[n][D…][T…][~sep~] takes any @D and @T picture, @C3D010-T04~T~ is an ISO 8601 stamp with milliseconds. FORMAT, DEFORMAT, ENTRY, both designers and the Source Editor take it.
  • The Embed Editor keeps your language: Greek, Cyrillic, Chinese or emoji in a literal is saved into the .app as U'...' and shown back as you typed it.
  • Known Folders in the templates: the Global Properties folder lists offer Documents, Local AppData, ProgramData and friends beside the CSIDL values; the data path is a USTRING.
  • The driver trace file is UTF-8: every Unicode value in a record dump or a bind line reads as typed, on every SQL backend.
  • Wide in the frame: the Window menu, the MDI tab bar, STOP() and HALT(), TopScan’s Text and Hex Viewers, and the Query Center’s DATETIME filter.
  • From your reports, fixed: ADO MapRsToGroup, USE(Var,,?Var2) in the designer, ??? in the trace, FROM(U'...') in the help.
