Clarion 9 Addin Installation - Option 2: Update in C8, Copy to C9

You might like to continue to maintain your addins in Clarion 8 and copy them into Clarion 9. This way you can leverage the existing web-update functionality to easily grab any changes as they come out.

  1. Make sure you already have the AboutClarionAddins addin installed!
  2. Start Clarion 8
  3. Go to the Tools–>Options menu and find the Addin Updates section.
  4. Use the Addin Updates window to install and update the addins you want to use - http://www.clarionaddins.com/_files/AboutClarionAddins.png
  5. Copying the C8 addins to C9 by copying this folder %appdata%\SoftVelocity\Clarion\8.0\AddIns folder into %appdata%\SoftVelocity\Clarion\9.0\AddIns
