Copy in RTFCONTROL NOT WORKING

We are adding a rtf control dynamically within region . I am selecting a text in that control. But i cannot able to copy it and paste it. We are using SETCLIPBOARD(“somestring”) to make paste to work. But we cannot get the selected text of rtf control to pass within setclipboard. Any ideas to get the selected text. i tried with propertied but it coming as empty
