I have been experiencing weird system instability over the last couple of weeks and I finally found the culprit. I wanted to mention the issue here in case others may be having similar issues.

Some of those problems described, like File Explorer being unresponsive and files being accessible were some of the problems I experienced after 24H2 was pushed to my laptop as an update.
Currently I have 24H2 installed with “2025-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5051987” installed and touch wood, so far no problems, but this is a fresh install of windows 24H2, not an update, so its possible updating to 24H2 triggers the problems…
