Hacked Outlook account - how can I recover it?

My github account has been hacked, and its pointing to a SKCD.cc domain, a jc****@SKCD.cc.

Anyone know how I can recover it?

I wont be lending my phone to the homeless anymore, just how far will criminals go to screw over someone’s life?

Here’s a tightened-up version you can paste back into ClarionHub — I’ve removed the confusing bit about “security notifications” unless he still has recovery email/phone, and made it flow a bit more like a direct, step-by-step guide:

Hi Rich,
Sorry to hear this has happened to you. I asked GPT for advice, and here’s the step-by-step process it suggested:

  1. Go to Microsoft’s Account Recovery Page
    :backhand_index_pointing_right: https://account.live.com/acsr
This is the main way back in if you can’t access your account. Microsoft will ask for as much info as you can provide — old passwords, recovery details, when you created the account, people you’ve emailed, etc. The more you can give, the better your chances.

  2. Try “Forgot Password”
If the recovery email or phone number is still valid, use the standard “Forgot Password” link on the Outlook login page. That may let you reset access quickly.

  3. Check Recovery Email/Phone (if still working)
If you still have access to the recovery email or phone tied to the account, look for Microsoft’s reset links or alerts (sometimes they end up in Spam).

  4. Contact Microsoft Support
If the form doesn’t work, try reaching Microsoft Support via chat or phone. Having any info you remember (old passwords, when you created the account, etc.) will help prove ownership.

  5. Scan Your Devices
Just in case the compromise came from malware or a keylogger, it’s a good idea to run a full scan. Otherwise, even if you get the account back, it could be compromised again.

  6. Once Back In — Strengthen Security

    • Choose a strong new password
    • Enable two-factor authentication
    • Double-check your recovery email/phone are correct and under your control
    • Review your recent sign-in activity

Good luck — I hope this helps you get back in quickly.

So even though I had email addresses linked and 2FA setup, it appears these are worthless.

I’ve only got Clarion 6, 11, Notepad++, Edge, Firefox & Chrome, VMware, WinXP Github for desktop, Treesize free and Libre Office on my DWP supplied laptop.
My DWP supplied Samsung phone only has Outlook app, Github app, banking app, protonmail app installed. Everything else installed is what Samsung ships and its running the recently released version of android.

I did notice some of my text messages have been deleted to my ex a month or so ago, and thinking about it, I did remember my email address used for github suddenly stopped working on the outlook app, but they smoke spice at the soupkitchen and officially the NHS reckons it doesnt affect anyone if passively inhaled, but I disagree. Even the Colab centre staff close up and go home (drug driving) when someone is smoking it outside as it affects them, yet you cant smell the Spice being smoked, you only notice its effects once enough has been inhaled. Its a decent chemical weapon from a military perspective.

At the moment the outlook website and app are sending me around in circles, but one hack which seems to work, and this might be M$ way of forcing people to use their app is to add ALL your outlook email addresses to the outlook app on the phone, then they cant offer to send text messages and email codes to other email addresses because they are all installed and running on the phone’s outlook app!

Thanks for the suggestions though.
