Hi all,
What would be the recommended hardware needed to work with Clarion 12 in a comfortable way?
My laptop, FullHD with 15.6 inch display has 32GB RAM en Ryzen 5 (4 cores). Still good for day to day development with Clarion 12?
Regards,
Peter

Hard drive is the biggest factor, so get a NVMe or SSD drive. Spin disks are too slow.
I use one of these to run Clarion 11 and Vmware Workstation.

Its the NVMe that make its usable, but way slower than my 5.1Ghz desktop with SSD drives and 3 monitors on an Ergotron HX with Triple Bow.
The laptop can actually do a full 8hrs plus on battery with wifi, provided you have the Energy Saver mode switched on.
Energy Saver mode switches off background tasks, its a bit slower responding, but still usuable, however I do have to increase the screen brightness. Without this switched on, I’d get about 4-6hrs out of the battery.
Thanks,
I have an Samsung SSD Evo Plus 1TB for OS and SSD 860 EVO 1TB for data.
Been very satisfied with this over the past years.
Yeah I’ve had the Samsung Evo’s in the past, they perform well.
On one AMD desktop I could get Windows XP installed from ISO to a VMware Workstation desktop in just over a minute or two. Phenomenally quick.
