Integrating the Report Engine into Clarion Win32 Applications

I am busy converting my apps from Clarion 6 to Clarion 11.

I need to start using the new .REPXL format and make use of the “Export” options.

The problem I have is that most of my reports were designed to print from queues, where I make use of the Reset(Resets the view to the start) and Next(Get the next record) methods, which are no longer available when using .REPXL.

Is my only option here to write queue to file and then design report from the file?

Or is there a better option?

Would appreciate any suggestions/solutions

Take a look at Fomin Report Builder: http://fomintools.com/frb.htm

Not sure if it will work for you but it is excellent.
I use it in all my Clarion Apps as well as NetTalk web servers.
