Is the Generate EMBED Comments option supposed to inject ‘Before Embed Point’ comments into generated CLW files?
The help file has sections about #PREEMBED, #POSTEMBED and #EMPTYEMBED.
In Clarion 11.1 ABC template files, I can see #PREEMBED/#POSTEMBED in ABMODULE.TPW and the checkbox exists in ABCHAIN.TPL, but the generated CLW contains none of those comment lines even after regen.
The global option to generate embed comments seems to have no effect.
Is there another setting, chain condition, or target output that controls this?
