Looking for a new owner of retail desktop app (custom picture framing industry)

Hi all,

I’m exploring the idea of selling my small Windows-based software business that’s built in Clarion. It’s a desktop app used by custom picture framers—stable, niche-focused, and still running strong.

It has around 60 active customers and brings in approximately $15,000 - $20,000. The business has operated with minimal to no promotion - so there is room for growth in the market. It includes VAT-compatible features, so it’s usable in both the U.S. and Europe. There’s also room to expand into related verticals like art galleries, photography, or other specialty retail.

The codebase is solid and I’ve been maintaining it solo. Just looking for someone who can take it forward—maybe grow it, maybe keep it steady. Thought I’d post here since a Clarion developer would be the best place to start.

What version of Clarion is the current codebase?

Hi Sean,

The current app on market is 5.5 and some code done in 6 I do have the new one over to Clarion 10 with Sql Backend which is 85 percent complete. With some testing done.
