Looking for a print screen of screen capture template

I need to built in print screen option in an application. It needs print to active window of that application only. I know there is ImageEx what can do that, but maybe there are other options.
Any suggestions?

There’s this on GutHub. I’ve never used it. It may be in KSS.

Thank you, might worth a shot.

It may be in KSS.
… But what means KSS :grinning:?

I’ve used the PrintWindow template from Claro Group for eons and it works very well.

The Devuna project works well.

If I understand the documentation well, it uses a report procedure to to put the image on. What we need is something that is sent directly to the printer without a preview. I guess that will be possible as it will be a normal Clarion report procedure?

What I didn’t mentioned is that the screen capture needs to sent directly to the printer. Can that be done with this project?

Yes, turn off the preview.

From what I remember, he creates the window structure in the report structure and then prints it. There are many options to control how it looks and behaves.

Yes, you can print the screen shot, save to disk or to clipboard.
It uses API calls to accomplish these.

Capesoft has a product called DrawShot that I’ve never used. Sounds as if it might do what you want, but also might be overkill.

Don’t know if it prints directly to the printer - who does that these days?

Well, the client of my contractor wants it

Thank you all. I think my contractor has got enough ideas to choose from.

I’d also suggest a way to get it to a PDF as a way to be able to send it to someone else or save it.

IIRC @KevinErskine you had a screen capture tool in LF that was part of the Ragazzi library?

Lolz. Yes. Yes I did. So many years ago.

+1 Laro Group - PrintWindow
I use it too. It’s very nice and easy to use. It takes a Clarion form/browse and creates a comparable report for it. It’s not quite 100% accurate, but very close.
It doesn’t include the title bar of your window, but you can add report headings and footers to your report.

I used ImageEx 5.5 for screen capture, but now that I tested it, it zoomed my screen to 1/4 of its size, so something is off here. May have trouble with high resolution.
