Old Timer but Newbie on Clarion

Hi,
I’m been a programmer for more than 20-years using Assembly, C/C++, Pascal, BASIC, and Clipper; however, I never tried Clarion. I only heard it from a colleague. Now I began to get interested. I would really like to learn it, but books are very scarce. Do you have any guides or howto’s?

Kind regards.

Welcome!
There’s a Docs directory where you installed clarion. That has a heap of PDFs.
Also look at Clarionlive.com that is a most excellent resource.
There are also news groups at news.softvelocity.com

Feel free to ask stupid questions

Hello!!
In the folder "c:\Clarion11.1\docs" you can start with:

GettingStarted.pdf
LearningClarion.pdf
and … F1

Also, there are many people here who have a great knowledge of Clarion (not my case hahaha)

Welcome to the Clarion club!!
