Opening my dictionary Error

I get the following Error when opening my dictionary. It goes in but everytime gives me this error.
Plz help

For grins, you might want to export the dictionary as a txd; save it in safe place; create a new dictionary named cpr.dct; and, import the txd file. After you save it, re-open it and see if the error is gone.

The error “the filename is invalid”, maybe move the dct into another folder, or rename appdev.C10 to say appdev_C10.

I think this is the solution - I often get issues if a directory has a full stop in it.
