Office Inside interacts directly with the full complement of MS Office COM components
It seems to me, we just have to monitor updates and make sure the flags are set on and all should work the same as before.
From how I read the article, my take on this is that it refers to Microsoft disabling the embedding of ActiveX controls directly into Office documents for security reasons, which shouldn’t affect tools like Office Inside since they use automation rather than embedding ActiveX controls within documents. Therefore, document creation and manipulation through Office Inside should continue to work as expected without any issues.
