Poll: Do you ever experience the IDE Freezing when opening an app?

I actually just started getting this in a remote desktop. In this case it seemed to be because the solution explorer was not pinned open. As soon as I pinned that open the freezing stopped.

I’ve noticed - at least in my config - that it will freeze if too much memory clarion took already. Safe under 400MB, but higher will likely freeze any time and before that may seem to act oddly. So i simply monitor the usage and restart it when it gets hot :blush:.

This poll broke at some point when I failed to rebuild correctly after an update (discourse was changing pretty quick back then). I will put it back here just for fun :smile:

At least in C9 and C10 i have no problems at all.

I discovered that if your run Clarion 8 or above in a virtual machine you have to have 2 or more cores setup for the VM or the Clarion IDE crashes very often when opening APP files.
Since making this change Clarion almost never crashes opening APP files.
