MS Security Updates to fix print spooler exploit are reportedly causing failure to print issues especially with those using HP brand printers. (Our customer could print using any Microsoft Program but NOT ANY of our Clarion programs.) My customer was in ‘HYPER mode’ due to need to get payroll checks printed ASAP…They had HP Multi-function Laser printers.
To Fix:
Updated all printer drivers,
Download and run HP troubleshooting and Firewall troubleshooting repair tool.
The client is running AVG, so also downloaded the latest AVG Antivirus and created exceptions for: \Documents\FolderContainingOurINI_Files and C:\OurSoftwareLocation
