Has anyone ran into the issue of below, what I call Restore Bar, to be missing on some pc’s when you minimize a subwindow from your Clarion Application?
Whats Restore Bar?
What version of Clarion?
Only thing I can think of is you have another window or control over the top of the minimize button or this attribute is getting lost at some point.
WS_MINIMIZEBOX 0x00020000L The window has a minimize button. Cannot be combined with the WS_EX_CONTEXTHELP style. The WS_SYSMENU style must also be specified.
I was wondering whether it was possible that other MDI windows could be positioned beyond the viewable area of the frame, causing the iconized window to use their position.
It’s happening in Both Clarion 8 and Clarion 11 - but I noticed what’s causing the disappearance of
It’s the Windows Display Scaling setting - the thing is, for some PC’s a certain scaling is recommended as the display will be too small - I also don’t see it happen on all pc’s with scaling
Is it a specific scaling factor or graphic card issue?
Surprised Scaling is still causing issues though all these years later.
My own PC is scaled to 150% and no issues - another pc with scaling set to 125% has issues, but on all scalings except 100% - but this wasn’t always the issue - I already reinstalled the graphicsdriver and stuff
You might try Mike Duglas’ DPI-aware template.
Will look into that - thanks @Jane
