Why do I bother

Why do I bother with the Prison called Microsoft Windows?

Fed up with it resorting work back to previous versions.

Its just intellectual criminality that I have to pay for with money and time lost.

Dont ever come to the UK, its such a toxic country its soul destroying living here.

Hey @RchdR , hope this is some steam out and everything is good. Cheers

That’s funny.

Just yesterday, in light of the PISA study, I wrote to my radio station saying that, given the increasing dumbing down in Germany, I hope to be able to slip into my wooden pajamas soon.

It doesn’t seem to be any better in other countries either.

Should we start a self-help group called “Intelligent Anonymists”?

Almost certainly picked up Covid, the rest dont ask.

Been trying to leave UK since 2004, but typically military personnel, but other state employees have a way of keeping me here.

Such a toxic country.

I wouldnt place too much emphasis on those simply because they are the first major exam and in some cases only exam that will be taken, and as social media shows, some countries have developed different ways of teaching somethings, and sometimes it just clicks for many people.

Plus no one ever gets their exam paper back, so if you get labelled early on as a trouble maker, or someone challenging the system :innocent:, exams are one way that individual can have their life ruined, and it cant be proved which makes things worse. There is so little transparency in Govt.

I had nothing but hassle at school, dropped out twice, went to a different A-Level college, got messed around there, dropped out again, and despite scoring enough to go to uni, never went because I was told, I didnt have the right qualifications to go to Uni, only to find out years later I did have the good enough exam results, but with hindsight the careers advice were implying some other attribute or quality.

This country (the UK) just makes my blood boil sometimes.

Edit.
My Internet connection to X.com is being paused so I cant get back onto my account and pass the verification tests again…

So something else I discovered about 15yrs ago now, is if you lock down your systems to account for every packet of data going in and out, block all external trackers, some websites become inaccessible, they simply dont exist, and can only get onto the website if using bing or google.

This still happens today where some websites are simply inaccessible.

And if your systems is that locked down, you simply cant get anywhere online either.

I got hit with a virus about 8-10yrs ago, using Kaspersky, so I had to use the rescue disk. Again, the rescue disk was blocked from downloading the latest updates to perform an offline scan of hard drives.

And one time I was trying to show some firewall screen shots to some Police officers after constant hacks and I simply couldnt access the Picture folder in the user account. It just refused to work. And of course the microsoft licence agreement states we cant reverse engineer Windows, to show the code that remotely controls access to folders.

Thats just one small example of how no one imo, is in charge or can control their window’s PC’s.

Is linux or mac any better, dont know.

Big companies like MS & Apple just swamp people with code, much like 24hr news channels swamp viewers with constant news stories, making it impossible for one person to really keep track of anything now a days, let alone the constant changes to stories.

My old man used to collect newspapers and would read old one’s to see how history, years/decades later has changed things.

Either way the UK has become a techno prison.

One tiny example of the UK being a Techno Prison.

Bearing in mind its been 25years since 9/11, here in the UK on Tues 8th Sept, the National Air Traffic Services (Nats) “failed”, grounding all aircraft.

Reports in the press suggest it was a military aircraft filing a dodgy flight plan.

But now the Military (RAF) deny the wrong doing.

Thing is UK military have always had elevated privileges across all parts of life in the UK. When I worked for Tesco in the 90’s, and the Balkans conflict (Yugoslav Wars) were going on, Tesco would get order’s into their systems for Frozen foods which had to be picked before store orders, leaving stores short, unmarked articulated HGV’s would turn up, like something out of the X-Files, back onto the distribution centre bay’s, get loaded up with frozen foods, and off they went.

Lee Rigby attacked outside Woolwich barracks, all mobile phone’s pinged to triangulate and locate every mobile phone in the country because they didnt know if it was the start of an attack on the military, so they can do that.

The RAF denying this dodgy flight plan, seems almost certain to be a test of the NATS system in an attempt to test the system close to 9/11 but not too close to be “that” obvious, and then them denying it is probably an attempt to avoid a payout or court case, if insurance even covers this.

Its interesting the NATS grounds all flights though and the press are portraying it as a failure of NATS, when I dont think it was a failure, but standard operating procedure, if you look at how all aircraft was grounded for 2 days after 9/11. Then to have an MP giving the NATS boss a right talking too, if the press are telling the truth, is just typical military/govt mindset, that they are the top dogs and everyone else jumps asking how high. It makes me sick.

But why test it close to 9/11? Are they showing off to other countries or something else? Leaving you guessing is part of their mind games we are all forced to endure.
