Windows 11 "Smart App Control" slows down start of Clarion

I’ve just got a new Lenovo notebook on which I installed a fresh Windows 11 Version 25H2.
The Notebook specs are: Core Ultra 7 255H / 16 GB RAM.

After installing all apps and all Clarion related things I’ve noticed that my (good old) Clarion 8 and also Clarion 11 are starting slow - each time after a fresh reboot of the notebook.

I’ve googled several things regarding “Windows Prefetch” which I thought could be the cause but to make this story short: It was the new Windows 11 “Smart App Control” which was set to “Evaluation” by default.

I’ve checked on my old HP Core i7-1255U notebook and noticed that the “Smart App Control” was disabled.

So I now have disabled it on my new Lenovo notebook and Clarion 8 is starting extremely fast.

I looked at the Clarion 8 “Clarion.exe” file and noticed it is not digitally signed.
But I also noticed that the Clarion 11 “Clarion.exe” file IS digitally signed but it was also slow.

Whatever - I’m now happy that Clarion 8 is super fast even on the first start after a fresh reboot.

Just wanted to share this info - maybe someone else is also suffering from this new Windows 11 feature.
